Caring for a loved one can be rewarding and overwhelming. Our National Family Caregiver Support Program and Savvy Caregiver Program® provide resources that offer balance and relief.
Featured Programs
Provides resources and education to help unpaid caregivers of adults age 60 or older manage their responsibilities and maintain balance.
Through the program, caregivers may receive supplies, respite services and access to local support resources.
An evidence-based course for caregivers who are caring for individuals, over the age of 60, who are living at home with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia. This course is conducted in six 2-hour sessions which help caregivers to
- Understand the impact and scope of their role
- Strengthen practical caregiving skills
- Adopt more effective strategies for care
- Improve self-care and reduce stress
- Enhance quality of life for care recipients

Licensed counselors provide emotional support, information and guidance to those, age 60 and older, who may be experiencing grief, depression, anxiety, or life transitions. Services can be provided via telehealth or conducted at senior centers throughout the service area.
Receive a screening and assessment to help identify counseling needs, a treatment plan in coordination with a licensed counselor to establish goals and therapeutic interventions, and regular talk therapy with a licensed professional to help you take control of your mental health.
