Current opportunities
AAAPP’s Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) connects thousands of seniors, adults with disabilities and caregivers each year to trusted programs and providers. Organizations listed in our statewide helpline database become part of this vital referral network, helping callers access the right resources to remain independent and supported.
The ADRC maintains a statewide resource database used by all 11 Helplines in Florida, supporting more than 20,000 calls each year from individuals and out-of-state family members seeking local services.
Organizations that wish to receive referrals for funded programs or contracted services must apply to be an official AAAPP vendor. This designation is for
- Government-funded agencies,
- Community nonprofits
- Qualified businesses providing aging or disability services in Florida.
Vendors must meet AAAPP’s contracting requirements and program standards.
Who can apply:
All organizations applying to become a vendor must:
- Comply with State of Florida, Department of Elder Affairs requirements
- Provide services relevant to older adults or individuals with disabilities
- Demonstrate legitimacy through proper licensing, documentation and program information
Organizations that simply want to appear in the statewide directory, without becoming a contracted vendor, may request inclusion in the ADRC database. This option is ideal for:
- nonprofits,
- community programs, and
- businesses that want the public and Helpline specialists to be able to find and reference their services.
Listings are used by Helpline staff to guide callers toward appropriate community resources that fall outside AAAPP’s contracted provider network.
How to apply:
To request inclusion in the statewide ADRC database, submit an application that includes:
- Agency or business information
- A site page for each location
- A service narrative describing your programs, eligibility, fees (if any) and accessibility
- Required documentation, including licenses
- A signed acknowledgment statement from the application packet your agency
Follow the instructions outlined in the application to submit your materials.
For questions on eligibility or the application process, call 727-570-9696 Ext. 254.
