What should I consider when selecting a care facility for my loved one?
Choosing residential care can be challenging. Start by visiting floridahealthfinder.gov and using the “Facility Locator” to review local options and inspection reports.
When touring, ask about staff-to-resident ratios, medical services, training, safety policies, activities, fees, and visitation.
Always request the AHCA inspection report before making a decision.
