
Tracy Barrows is the ADRC Director at the Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas, bringing more than 20 years of experience in Information & Referral services. She oversees the Helpline, a federally funded program that provides information and referrals to seniors, adults with disabilities, and caregivers, as well as Intake and Screening, which connects individuals to federally and state-funded programs and the Statewide Medicaid Managed Care Long-Term Care Program. These core services help older adults, individuals with disabilities, and caregivers access the support they need.
Tracy began her career as an Information & Referral Specialist and spent nearly two decades leading the Helpline, where she built high-performing teams and drove meaningful improvements in operations and outcomes. Her Bachelor of Applied Science in Technology Development and Process Management, along with her Inform USA Community Resource Specialist – Aging/Disabilities (CRS‑A/D) certification, supports her strengths in systems thinking, operational efficiency, and commitment to national best practices in information and referral services.
Known for her practical, people-centered approach, Tracy co-developed the Diapers for Dignity program to address an unmet community need reflecting her ongoing commitment to improving access and dignity for those she serves. She continues to devote her work to uplifting others, ensuring that every individual who reaches the ADRC finds not just information, but hope, compassion, and a path forward.
